  • 2026-10-17 DeepSeek-V4.1-Flash-1017 launched: live on DeepSeek's web and app and in the API as deepseek-flash, with API pricing unchanged (1M-token context). DeepSeek says it finishes tasks faster with shorter outputs and is specifically optimized for DeepSeek Harness; it recommends DeepSeek Harness v0.2.1-rc.1 or later for the best experience. Source

Setup example

With Node.js installed, run npx @deepseek-ai/dsh web, which starts the Web UI at http://127.0.0.1:3080, then add a workspace folder.
